 | Pitts Selected MLBA Player of the Week Monday, June 27th, 2011: Victor Pitts is respected by most Lakeside City Generals fans for his no-frills style of play. The 22-year-old catcher went about his business with vigor last week to grab the MLB Single A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .429 average (9-21) with 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This year Pitts is hitting .233 with 7 home runs and 23 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .316 clip and scored 21 runs. |   |
