 | NL's Star Player Named Monday, August 30th, 2010: The marquee name in the National League this week is Kojiro Nakamura of the Cincinnati Reds. The hot-hitting 28-year-old right fielder put up a .519 average and .517 on-base percentage, piling up 14 hits in 27 at-bats, 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and 6 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the NL Player of the Week honors. To date Nakamura has chalked up a .306 average with 23 home runs, driven in 123 runs and scored 76 times. |
