MLBAA Selects Costello June's Top Starter
Friday, July 1st, 2011: In June, Cris Costello tore through the MLB Double A like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old.

The young Quarryville starter posted a 5-1 mark and an ERA of 2.14 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 42 innings he collected 40 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .211 average.

So far this year Costello has 8 wins and 4 losses and a 3.64 ERA.

MLBAA's #1 Batter Announced
Friday, July 1st, 2011: Pino Rossellino has a lot going for him. The Wichita first baseman just broke into the majors this year and now the MLB Double A has just picked him as its top hitter for June.

In 28 games last month, this outstanding rookie batted .340 with 6 home runs, 26 RBIs and 21 runs scored.

This year Rossellino is hitting at a .288 pace with 15 home runs and 57 RBIs. He has played in 72 games and scored 45 times.
