 | MLBAA Selects Costello June's Top Starter Friday, July 1st, 2011: In June, Cris Costello tore through the MLB Double A like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old. The young Quarryville starter posted a 5-1 mark and an ERA of 2.14 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 42 innings he collected 40 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .211 average. So far this year Costello has 8 wins and 4 losses and a 3.64 ERA. |   |
