 | MLBCOL Awards Outstanding Hitter Award, Antonio Gets Prize
Tuesday, June 14th, 2011: Miguel Antonio of the Marion College Nighthawks had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2011.
The 18-year-old right fielder put up a .379 average and a .455 on-base percentage, piling up 64 hits, 10 doubles, 1 triple, 19 home runs, 56 RBIs and 35 runs scored.

 | Best MLBCOL Pitcher Announced
Monday, June 13th, 2011: 20-year-old António Guerrero of the Homer College Lugnuts put together a good year in 2011 for such a young player. Guerrero was named today as the winner of the MLB College Outstanding Pitcher Award.
Guerrero crafted an impressive 7-0 record and a 1.82 ERA. In 59.1 innings he allowed 40 hits, struck out 66, and walked 30.
