Wednesday, September 1st, 2010: When Tim Fullerton took the hill in August, he was in charge. The Toledo starter never let the International League batters get a foothold against him. For his peerless performance, he came away with an impressive 5-0 record and the Pitcher of the Month award.
The talented Mud Hens hurler made 5 starts, worked 43.1 innings, permitted 30 base hits, and struck out 18 while putting up a 1.66 ERA.
To date this season Fullerton sports a 15-2 mark with a 3.03 ERA in 19 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .251 batting average and has 74 strikeouts in 154.2 innings.

 | IL Honors Meyer, Best Hitter in August
Wednesday, September 1st, 2010: Lehigh Valley first baseman Michael Meyer put the wraps on a fine August by capturing the International League Batter of the Month honors today.
He put up a .314 batting average and .396 on-base percentage last month while racking up 5 home runs, 19 RBIs, 25 runs scored and 15 walks.
This year Meyer is hitting .326 with 8 home runs and 26 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .401 clip and scored 31 runs.

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010: Mud Hens Ricardo Durango could be wearing a new uniform soon. Word has it that Toledo would like to swing a deal for the 32-year-old right fielder. A spokesperson for the team declined to comment.
